Black hair and paler skin seem to be a general effect on the homunculi of the anime.
Trisha Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist has brown hair, but in the 2003 anime version, when she is "resurrected" as a homunculus named Sloth, her hair is jet black. In Fate/Zero, an unwilling Irisviel has this, when her mind gets absorbed by all the Evils in the World - Angra Mainyu.
